What to Expect:
A specialised aesthetic system which takes a specialized photo of the face from three different angles with a polarized light - this allows up to a 2mm penetration of the light and an image that can pick up broken capillaries, pigmentation and measure sun damage. The system analyses the images and then calculates the skin's age according to the sun damage, and allows us to create an individualized plan to counteract the specific problems identified.
The consultation takes around half an hour to 45 minutes.

Skin tone: the secret of a youthful appearance
For years, wrinkles have been the number one target for procedures to give a youthful appearance. But wrinkles are only one factor in the aging process. Scientific research has shown that an even skin tone can reduce the appearance of age by as much as twenty years. When we are young we have an even, luminous skin tone. As we age our skin gets thinner, dull and skin tone becomes uneven or blotchy, making us look older. Beau Visage is unique in that it enables us to look at two of the skin's chromophores (the substances causing red and brown marks): blood and melanin. Blood and melanin influence skin tone the most, and Beau Visage enables us to visualise and measure them. This helps the practitioner to choose therapies and treatments that harmonise skin tone, providing a more youthful appearance.
Beauty Timeline
A facility allowing the practitioner and client to compare their before and after photo's and be able to see where the improvements are taking place.
Fast and easy to use
For each consultation, and to supply Beauty Timeline with images, a maximum of 3 pictures needs to be taken of the client each time they come for a treatment. Beau Visage generates information for chromophore maps, sun damage score and skin health score.
Beau Visage and SIAscopy
SIAscopy is a technology that has been developed for investigating skin conditions. It provides doctors with images that show how blood and melanin are distributed beneath the surface of the skin. These pictures help doctors to examine the skin and diagnose the extent of skin conditions and skin cancer. They can also be used to measure the effectiveness of skin treatments such as lasers and chemical skin peels. SIAscopy is the only single technology that can measure blood, collagen and melanin "in-vivo" (without the need for biopsy).
