Acne Treatment

There are different types of acne, with different levels of severity. We treat all types and all stages, from active cystic Acne Vulgaris, to old acne scarring.

During the active stages I use a combination of chemical peels, which are not deep but are bacteriostatic, and then combine this with laser (if necessary), and Carboxy therapy if there is acne scarring as this restores the skin where the so called 'ice -pick' scars have left deep indentations. 

 I also have a range of homecare that is given, which is simple, cost effective and aid is in reducing post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is so common after the breakout.

Before treatment commenced. Acute Acne Vulgaris, with very painful pustular and deep cystic lesions. We started with chemical peels, home treatment, laser and Carboxy Therapy. We had 6 weeks time before a major function so the pressure was on. The Carboxy Therapy, on active lesions is painful as the lesions are painful and tender already, but he managed and the result speaks for itself.

 After 6 weeks treatment : A happy young man who looked stunning for his function, and felt good. In this type of case there can be repeat breakouts in future until testosterone peaks during growth phases have subsided, but homecare can keep these to a minimum.
